GardenRack

GardenRack

GardenRackGardenRackGardenRackGardenRackGardenRackBuild Waist High Garden Boxes Never Kneel Or Bend Again What do you do if you can’t bend or kneel as well as you use to and still love to garden. I found a solution that worked for me and it will work for you to.  A waist high garden box.

GardenRackGardenRackI love to garden.  Last winter I broke my ankle and had to spend most of the spring in a wheel chair. This unfortunate incident forced me to look for alternative methods to satisfy my gardening passion. To give up gardening was not an option so I did some quick research and made a list of things I would need in order to accomplish my new goal.

New information on how to grow vegetables in garden boxes.

A small garden space that can be easily reached

Planter boxes that would be free standing  portable and waist high

Garden containers that would not cost an arm and a leg to build.

A table planter that could be moved inside for winter

I began to search for plans to build a few planter boxes and was pleasantly surprised when I came across the GardenRack website. I found many websites that had a lot of really great information about building planter boxes but since I was going to spend the money for new planter boxes why not look for something I could use all year round. I wanted a planter box that I could move inside after summer. When I found the GardenRack website my in-door planter problem was solved.  This website covered all the information I was looking for. Plus, two free e-books about the GardenRack, a free subscription to” Frugal Gardener” a monthly newsletter and two eight week tutorials. One on cooking and growing herbs and the other about how to get rid of garden pests without using chemicals. Now I was excited. I could see those vegetables growing right before my eyes.

The Garden Rack is about 15 sq. feet in size.  The same size as a normal washer and dryer placed side by side. It can be adjusted for your height. No bending or kneeling and it can be customized to the height of a wheel chair. Perfect for small spaces like balconies condo and townhouses .It is hardy enough to survive summer storms and last through icy, snowy winters.  It can stand up to heavy plants is free standing and can be moved around the yard or taken with you when you move.

The GardenRack is a snap to put together.  The materials are easy-to-find at your local hardware store. You won’t need sophisticated power tools and the plans are very easy to read.

The GardenRack isn’t just for outside growing.  It can be set up under grow lights in a spare room for year round growing. I like the thought of growing my own lettuce as the snow blows and howls around my windows come November.

I loved what I found
