What are the Solfeggio sounds? They are a series of musical compositions based on ancient mathematical scales and legendary frequencies....These original sound frequencies were apparently used in Ancient Gregorian Chants. The Solfeggio frequencies contain the six pure tonal notes that were once used to make up the ancient musical scale. These frequencies are not something new, but are something very old.

These chants contained special tones or frequencies which, when sung in harmony, and in Latin, were believed to impart tremendous spiritual blessings during religious masses.

The “original Solfeggio frequencies mysteriously disappeared, around 1050 AD. It has been presumed, they were altered by the Catholic Church and Pope Gregory. Further research states that, when  “Pope Johannes  became a saint – Saint Iohannes -  the scale was changed. The seventh note ‘SI’ was added from his name. ‘SI’  later became ‘TI.’ These changes significantly altered the frequencies sung by the masses.

Another reason these Solfeggio frequencies became “lost” was because of the change in tuning practices throughout history. The standard tuning method for the past 200 years is quite different from the tuning practices dating from antiquity through about the 16th century A.D.

It should he noted the middle C that we know today has a frequency tone of 512 Hz. Different from the

original middle C of the Solfeggio tone

Each of the six Solfeggio frequencies correspond to, not only a note on the tonal scale, but to a cycle per second Hz frequency number, and to a specific color, and, ultimately, to a particular chakra in the body.

For instance, middle C of the scale called the Solfeggio is related to the 528 Hz frequency tone, which is associated to the color green, which, in turn, is related to the heart chakra. It is the third note on the scale and relates to the note “MI” on the scale and derives from the phrase “MI-ra gestorum” in Latin meaning “miracle.
